Pretty quiet place here away from the drunk indigenous. Many BBQs here. Coming here by car would be best. Small war feature on site. Great views of the Darwin city from the viewpoint.

Good park, the Mountain bike trails are decent, but not the most well maintained. I ride here often, but run the trails more than ride them. They make for great trail running and are just technical enough that you have to pay attention to your foot placement. Don't mess around and wear plenty of bug spray and bring extra with you. The Mozzies and Midges will eat you alive if you don't take precautions. The park also has some WWII storage bunkers spread throughout the park, most are closed, but one is open and staged with some historical info. There is also a decent "lookout" over the Darwin Skyline.
